Beth is mainly office based but supports rooms and covers where needed. Beth is available to offer SENCo advice, respond to any general queries and is there to support the team, children, and our families.

NVQ Level 3 qualified – Emma has been in childcare since 2013, she has a breadth of experience in working with different ages.
Emma has a welcoming, friendly and bubbly nature which the children and staff love.

Pre-School
Another local girl, Lauren started her career at college but decided the practical approach was more for her.
Lauren is a ‘do-er’ who doesn’t like to sit still! Lauren spends her spare time helping her mum on her cheese stall and more often than not working in a part time job.

Suzie is a calm and caring practitioner with experience in SEND and is an asset to our Pre-school room, Suzie is great with the children.

Clare approached us for some extra hours to compliment her part time job in school. Her wealth of experience will be beneficial in getting our Pre-school children ‘school ready’ and working 1:1 and in small groups.

Trainee practitioner Reannah approached us in her final year at school with the enthusiasm needed for her role in the Pre-School Room.

Tadpoles
Danielle qualified in July 2014 after joining us as our third apprentice and works with the children in the Tadpoles room.
She is an excellent carer and works hard to put all the children at their ease and have them feel secure.

Having relocated from another nursery to complete her apprenticeship, Aimee has quickly settled and with a fair amount of experience as an apprentice already.

Megan is very experienced, having a child of her own and previously working in early years, she has decided to return to childcare to reignite her passion.

Leah, who is from Goosnargh, has recently joined our Tadpoles team.
Leah left school last year, she has been to college studying childcare but decided it wasn’t for her as she prefers a ‘hands on approach’. Leah is keen to learn and start her apprenticeship.

Lilypads
Katie has returned after a career change and was one of our original team when we opened (also gifted us Toby the tortoise) back in 2012. Mum to Ethan and Nancy, Katie is a more than welcome addition to her team in Lilypads.
Her wealth of experience as both practitioner and mum, is an absolute asset to our young team. Katie’s spare time is spent ferrying her children to their many classes and lives in her own little house for her and her two children.

Libby started her time in Tadpoles but now resides in Lilypads alongside Charlotte and the team. Libby is very artistic and has a background in theatre studies.
She’s adapting well to nursery life and is a quiet, nurturing soul. Libby spends spare time with her family, holidaying and going on trips out at the weekend.

Mel has return to us after covering maternity leave 5 years ago, she is a welcome addition to our baby room and has a nurturing nature.

Charlotte was our first employee when we opened back in 2012! She has worked with a range of ages but has found her passion in the baby room. Charlotte has a calm, laid back approach within the room and is great at adapting routines to meet the needs of our children and families. Charlotte and her partner Liam have two children together, both who attend nursery with us.

Frogs
Charlotte came to us as a student, who decided after completing her level two that she would like to complete her level three in a more practical way.
Charlotte is now NVQ Level 3 qualified and is a fantastic team member who is calm and nurturing in our busy frogs room. Charlotte is a great asset to the nursery and is great with both children and their families.

Liv has experience in all our rooms and is great with all ages, she is conscientious and great at organizing activities and games with the children.

Jess is a local Grimsargh girl who Jane looked after at Alston Lane Nursery when she started out. Jess is an amazingly talented theatrical make up artist after having studied this at college.
Since finishing, Jess found work at the Plough, before deciding to start her ‘career’ with us. Mature for her grand age of 22, Jess is amazing in Frogs and everyone is taken with her friendly and caring misdemeanour. Shes going to smash this apprenticeship in no time.

Jen comes with a glowing reference from her previous nursery in Manchester. Having relocated to Longridge, Jen is settling in well and becoming a valued member of the Frogs team.
Married to Shawn and mum of Imogen, the family are exploring the local area in her time off and looking after her mum who still lives in Manchester.

Team Members
Amy is currently working Monday and Friday although we’re trying to get her to increase as we love her so much! Came to us on placement 10 years ago but is now back.
Loves to work with the quiet children and gain enough confidence to bring them out of their shells. Amy is an asset, works across all rooms when and wherever, as needed.

Lola is Beth’s sister and came to us to do her work experience which she really enjoyed. Lola comes after school to help prepare the rooms for the following day, helps with cleaning and tidying up and other jobs to help support the rooms. Lola is keen and hardworking; she is eager to start her apprenticeship with us when she leaves school next year.
